About Me

Hi, I’m Laura Cassidy, founder of The Global Sketchbook. Our mission is to inspire young artists to develop their art and creativity skills, express their ideas and grow into confident, resilient artists.

With over 20 years of experience teaching children worldwide, I’ve seen how art can transform a child’s confidence and imagination. When children are encouraged to develop their own ideas and embrace the creative process, they discover that there’s no single ‘right’ way to create—just their own unique way of seeing the world.

My approach nurtures creativity in a way that’s personal and meaningful, helping each child grow into a reflective artist and creative thinker.
